Carolina Q Cup
South Carolinians are blessed in that they live in the only state in the nation that regularly cooks and serves all four kinds of barbeques; tomato-based, mustard-based, light tomato base, and vinegar and pepper. The Carolina Q Cup will bring together 50 teams of professional barbequers cooking on gas or wood. These professionals will be selected from all over the state so all four major types of barbeque will be offered for the public's happy consideration.
This joyful barbeque event will be judged by trained and Certified South Carolina Barbeque Judges. Cash prizes will be offered to the top twelve teams.
Bluegrass, gospel and Southern rock bands will perform for the guests pleasure and games and contest will be staged throughout the event.
