Split Creek Farm
A lot of work goes into running the day-to-day operations of
Split Creek Farm, but it doesn’t take “man” power to do it. Five women work full time at the Grade A goat dairy, doing everything from managing the herd, to milking the goats, to making cheese. Evin Evans and Patricia Bell are co-owners of the farm. The team has decades of experience, resulting in one of South Carolina’s best dairy farms.
Blue Ridge Mountains Goat Farm
Split Creek Farm, a Grade A goat dairy in the scenic foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina, has struck gold on several occasions, bringing gold medals and ribbons back to the state from national competitions for its goat milk, handmade cheese and fudge. The farm’s registered goat herd, mostly Nubians, produces all the milk used for its dairy products. The goats are milked twice per day. The kids (also known as baby goats) are a big attraction at Split Creek Farm in the spring.
