Adluh Flour Mills
If you’re in downtown Columbia, SC, near the State House while it’s dark, you can see Adluh showing off her bright neon garb. Adluh has been a Columbia staple since 1900. Obviously that was long before the World Wide Web came into existence.
Now the flour, cornmeal, mixes, breaders and feed products produced at the Columbia plant can be purchased online. Over 100 years later, stones are still used to produce the specialty grits items.
Many meals prepared in South Carolina kitchens and beyond were created with the help of Adluh products. Light fluffy biscuits, creamy grits, moist pound cakes and crispy hushpuppies are so much better with Adluh.
Shop AdluhStore.com for baking and seasoned mixes, flour, cornmeal and stone ground grits. All Adluh products are kosher approved and milled by Allen Brothers Milling Co. Inc.
Adluh Flour Mills is housed in a plant that's listed on the National Register of Historic Properties. In 1942, there were 42 operating mills located in South Carolina. Today only one of these remains - Adluh Flour Mills in Columbia.
