A Passion for Wine
Les and Vicki Jayne planted the vineyard in March 2000 and opened the winery in December 2005. The couple, who moved to South Carolina from Canada more than 20 years ago, also has a custom wood working stair shop in Easley. Les used his carpentry skills to do all the woodwork in the building including the doors, tasting bar, and stairwell.
The Jaynes have a zeal for wine. "Wine is a passion of ours," Les says. "It's a flourishing industry. It's growing by leaps and bounds and (we were) looking for something new and exciting."
